Seriously. Greg Ballard, the "Accidental Mayor" of Indianapolis recently mused that creating a Chinatown and creating an international cricket tournament would be the magic touch needed to bring Indiana into the black and make us a world class city.

So, his big bold ideas include 1) a racial/ethnic ghetto to boost our coolness cred and 2) the creation of a tournament for a sport that 3 people in the United States care about.

Could someone explain to this guy how Chinatown's grow organically due to a large Chinese immigrant population. And while you're at it, politely explain that cricket won't catch on just because we will it to be. When is the last time you saw cricket on ESPN?

Well, at least he's thinking outside the box. I guess.
