Would you be surprised to know that Indiana's first openly gay elected official is a Republican? Terry Michael is the Hamilton County Fall Creek Township Trustee. He is running against anti-gay politician Beverly Gard in the primary election this spring in District 28. If you'd like to help the campaign, shoot me an e-mail and I'll give you his contact information. He needs volunteers and, of course, funding.
