As ten Attorney Generals from around the country are filing with the California Supreme Court to beg the court to stay their recent marriage equality ruling, Indiana is gearing up for the Republican nomination battle for this year's general election. Two candidates, Valparaiso Mayor Jon Costas and Deputy Attorney General Greg Zoeller, are vying for the nomination at Monday's convention.

Of course neither are especially moderate. They are both pandering to the lowest common denominator - the rightwing fundies - to carry them to victory. Josh Gillespie of Hoosier Access brings word that the American Family Institute of Indiana PAC has endorsed Zoeller. I wonder why.
