I'm telling you, this is excited for Evan Bayh. I swear, he might just go nuts and wring his hands soon.
I have to admit though, as much as I knock Senator Bayh for being a little, um, bland, that's the perfect reason he'd make a good Veep pick. After all, he definitely won't outshine Obama...

I'm ambivalent on Evan Bayh, agreeing with you as to his blandness and having some concern for some of his apparent conservatism (or simply silence) on issues near and dear to our community. However, the main problem I have is that should Governor Daniels be re-elected (something that unfortunately I think more likely than not even if Barak Obama turns Red Hoosierdom blue), Bay's seat will be occupied until the next election by a Republican. Are those pushing the idea thinking of that?
