Only a few days ago, whilst reminiscing on my favorite rock act, Broken Social Scene, I mentioned that BSS helped to launch Leslie Feist's career. As a founding member of BSS, she's contributed vocals on all of their albums. She's best known for her singles "1234" and "My Moon My Man" which have been prominently feature in iPod Nano and Verizon Chocolate ads respectively, but all of her work is really impressive. Lately, she's been doing it up Sesame Street Style:
I would contend that Leslie Feist is a national treasure, albeit a Canadian national treasure. In any case, what many people don't know about Feist is that she's the former roommate of the marvelously vulgar Peaches. Given that, and considering Broken Social Scene has released such tracks as "I'm Still Your Fag" and "Handjobs for the Holidays", I think it's fair to assume that her presence on Sesame Street is simply more of their attempt to mainstream promoters of the radical leftist agenda. Is anyone over at Veritas Rex on this? I can't connect all the dots for yah on this whole gay agenda thing. Sheesh.

The best part of this story that even you missed was Neil Patrick Harris as "the shoe fairy." LOL
