While I'd like to point to this video of Governor Mitch Daniels addressing "faith leaders" from around the state and say he's pandering to the religious vote, but...
...it's awfully hard to do with Democratic Lt. Governor nominee Dennie Oxley running around to any church that'll have him so he can sing hymns in front of the congregation.
Memo to the Long Thompson campaign: I don't need more announcements of churches Dennie will be appearing at this Sunday. I don't need an even shallower version of Sarah Palin warbling around the state like a damned songbird - even if he learns to dance too. He's not going to help the campaign by singing Amazing Grace.
I want a campaign I can stand behind as it points out how disastrous the past four years have been for Indiana under Daniels' watch. I want a campaign I can stand behind as it fights for the basic rights of all Hoosiers.
I want a campaign worthy of Jill Long Thompson, not a pandering politico flirting with Jeebus via the veep in an attempt to win political points in the latest polls. That's a campaign worthy of John McCain.

On the other hand, Bil, Indiana can boast being one of the VERY few states in the entire country that have two cities with transgender employment protection: Indianapolis-Marion County and Bloomington. I'm thankful for that.
