The 5th annual Art for Life will be held on Friday, Nov. 21 at Old National Bank in Downtown Evansville. This is one of the fastest growing HIV/AIDS fund raisers in our region, and features a reception, cash bar, jazz music,
a silent auction, a live auction and an awards presentation. The event benefits the following organizations:
- The AIDS Resource Group of Evansville will receive 40% of the proceeds to benefit their emergency client assistance fund, to help the low-income individuals and families impacted by HIV and AIDS in 11 counties in Southwestern Indiana.
- The Tri-State Alliance will receive 40% of the proceeds to benefit their HIV prevention efforts targeting at-risk youth in Southwestern Indiana, Northwestern Kentucky and Southern Illinois.
- The Indiana AIDS Fund will receive 20% of the proceeds to benefit their emergency client assistance fund which helps low-income individuals and families impacted by HIV and AIDS throughout Indiana.
Also during the event, a special collection will be made to benefit low-income individuals and families impacted by HIV and AIDS throughout the Tri-State area, to help purchase grocery store gift cards for these low-income families. These will be distributed by the Tri-State AIDS Holiday Project.Monetary donations and auction items are needed to help make this event a success!
