Updated with information about all the protests
Everyone has been asking what they can do in response to Florida's Amendment 2, California Prop 8, and Arizona 102. Well, someone has answered that question.
Join the Impact has started a movement for a National Day of Protest on November 15th, 2008:
On the steps of your City Hall on November 15th at 10:30am PST /1:30pm EST, our community WILL take to the streets and speak out.
The website has four locations in Indiana listed (Indianapolis, Bloomington, Evansville, and South Bend), but are asking for anyone to contact them to arrange one in their area. California had been protesting nonstop since their constitutional amendment passed, making huge national headlines. Now we can all step up and do the same in our own state.

South Bend Information

WHEN: Saturday November 15th @ 12:30pm CST
We will be starting up at 12:30am, but it's fine if you don't come until 1:30pm, as there's been a little confusion as to when the starting time is.
It's looking cold and possibly rainy, so bring a coat and umbrella. Camcorders and disposable cameras would be great, but are not required.

FYI: The Bloomington, IN protest/rally will NOT be at City Hall. It will be at the downtown square.

Some of the times here are confusing. The Eastern Standard Time for the event is 1:30 as mentioned in the when section, not the 12:30 mentioned in the introductory line, though there is something to be said for getting there early.

Thanks for pointing that out, Melanie. I've corrected the blurb before the Indy protest. I thought I got all of those, but apparently I missed one.
Isn't it hell living in Indiana where you get two time zones? Originally the JoinTheImpact site had us all at 12:30, then 1:30 and then it got split as it should. I've changed this darn post three times now!
(No wonder a lot of Hoosiers are confused as to the timing of the event! Including me!)
