Congrats to both Jennifer Wagner and Thomas Cook for their new gigs!

Jennifer, known for her old job as Communications Director for the Indiana Democratic Party and her blog Taking Down Words, left that position to work on a campaign last fall. After the election, she started two other sites, the Envision Indy blog (which is on my RSS feed as a daily read) and a news and press release aggregator website, Hoosier Political Report. Jen also grabbed a spot as a political pundit with Indianapolis ABC station WRTV-6 and contributed to their Capital Watchblog. Jen has re-joined the Dems in her old position again, which - as she explains in her last Capital Watchblog post - "precludes me from having an exclusive relationship with one media outlet."

Replacing her as WRTV's Democratic talking head is Blue Indiana's Thomas Cook. I remember when Thomas' blog launched and he was desperate for content. Now, Thomas has built Blue Indiana into one of the best Indiana political blogs - one that I always check first thing in the morning. Thomas will be putting fresh content (that you can't get at Blue Indiana) on the Capital Watchblog.

It's always a pleasure to see two of Indiana's other top liberal bloggers striding forward. It couldn't happen to two better people.
