Last weekend's Indiana Stonewall Democrats reception for the Democratic State Central Committee was a veritable Who's-Who of Indiana political heavyweights. Hosted in Bilerico-Indiana contributor Doug Meagher's home, the event drew over 100 supportive politicians, political power brokers and LGBT Hoosiers.

SD005 for web.jpgLocal photographer Mark Lee was also present snapping shots of attendees. Mark took the photo that I use as my icon and has also done some headshots for me; he's a damn good photographer. The picture of Jerame talking to activist Christian Mosburg during the reception is one of Mark's shots.

If you were at the party and would like to purchase one of Mark's photos, he's selling them as a fundraiser for Stonewall Democrats. You can grab some excellent shots of yourself (and your friends!) and Mark will donate a percentage of the profits back to ISD. The prices are very reasonable. Mark sent me over four examples that had either Jerame or I in them so I could publish them here, but to see the rest head over to Shutterbug and use the password "HouseParty09" (cap sensitive).

Indianapolis City-County Councilor Jackie Nytes and I talk about the success of the various Bilerico sites. We both look so wry.

Bilerico co-owner Jerame Davis and Indianapolis City-County Councilor Jackie Nytes talk at the political reception. I think this is the queeniest I've ever seen Jerame look in a photo and we've been together for 10 years. I love it - everyone says he's "the butch one."
