Indiana Youth Group (IYG) serves lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth ages 12 - 21. The Youth Outreach Assistant is a new position and will provide administrative support for all IYG programs and services, including data entry, setting up appointments, mass mailings to maintain positive relationships with schools, other social service agencies, and the community. The position also includes giving presentations and mentoring LGBTQ youth at least one evening a week in our Activity Center.

Requirements: Must be at least 25 years old with a minimum of a high school diploma/GED. Must have a good office skills, an understanding of computers, and experience communicating with businesses via telephone, postal mail, and email. Must also enjoy working with adult volunteers, mentoring teenagers and young adults, and public speaking.
