It's not often that I find myself agreeing with the folks at Hoosier Access, but this time is a good exception. I think Baron Hill is a good Congressman, but his aversion to being recorded has become absurd.

In this video from Hill's Bloomington town hall meeting, the Congressman castigates a high school student who wanted to film the gathering for a school project. She asked why she wasn't able to film a public meeting held in a public place and is told, "This is my town hall meeting. And you're not going to tell me how to run my Congressional office. Now the reason I don't allow filming is because usually the films that are done end up on YouTube in a compromising position."

Newsflash for the Congressman: Politicians end up on YouTube faster when they a) act like a jerk, b) pick on a little girl, c) does something patently stupid, or d) all of the above. Especially when the Bloomington Herald Times was filming the event and broadcasting it live on their website.

'Cuz now you just look like an ass.
