Donna grew up in upstate New York and relocated to northern Indiana in 1982. She is a veteran of the United States Air Force and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science from Indiana University South Bend.

Donna is a Research Analyst by day and a mother of two sons (3 and 7) by night. She and her partner have been in a committed relationship for 15 years and were one of the first in St. Joseph County to be granted second-parent adoptions.

Interests, other than spending time with family and friends include: Politics, Progressive Christianity, playing music, nature, wildlife, photography, cooking, and gardening.

Donna is a strong advocate for social justice and equality.
